5 Keys to planning a Wedding

Updated: Apr 10, 2021

1) The Venue - Make sure to envision your Big day at the time of finalizing your wedding venue. All that matters is, your satisfaction when you see yourself with your loved ones celebrating you & your partner.

2) The Date - Locking on the wedding date is very crucial, as this may help you save on a good amount on your wedding expenses. Try to think of the date convenient to most of the guests and not just immediate family, in order to ensure a good amount of participation.

3) The Ritual - The most embarrassing moment is when the couple or the family does not know the ritual and wait for either the priest or the planner to come and guide them. Please ensure to go over each and every ritual, along with each and every one involved in the ritual at least twice before the big day.

4) The Money - Fixing on a budget is the wisest thing you will do before planning the wedding, but sticking to it will get very difficult. Try to allocate budgets to each aspect of the wedding separately i.e : Decor, Catering, Photography, Alcohol, Cake, Miscellaneous, etc. Make provision for a buffer of 10% above all budgets. As wedding costs never go down.

5) The Planner - There is only one person who can save you from expensive vendors, last minute tantrums, pricey artists & an Angry Mother in Law, your WEDDING PLANNER. Please hire a wedding planner before you book anything else, so that they can help you stick to the budget, find the right venue, go over all the rituals in detail & ensure you wedding date is remembered by all forever. Don't hire the wedding planner based on the weddings they have done in the past, hire the wedding planner that connects with you and your partner.
